Shape Progress · iOS

Privacy policy

Last updated: April 30, 2026

In short

Shape Progress is a strength-training tracker built for iOS. It runs entirely on your device. No data is sent to our servers — there isn't even a Shape Progress server. No account, no tracking, no ads.

What data is collected?

None. Shape Progress does not collect, transmit or store any personal data on a third-party server or any Shape Progress service.

Local storage

Your sessions, exercises, templates and preferences are stored locally on your device using SwiftData (iOS's private database). This data never leaves your iPhone, unless you enable iCloud sync (see below).

iCloud sync

If you are signed in to iCloud on your Apple devices, Shape Progress syncs your data between them through your personal iCloud account (Apple CloudKit + iCloud Key-Value Store). This data stays in your iCloud, managed by Apple, never by JDUCRAFT. You can disable sync at any time from iOS Settings > iCloud > Shape Progress.

Apple Intelligence

On iPhones that support Apple Intelligence (iOS 26+), two optional features use Apple's on-device models: exercise suggestion in the template editor and the post-session summary. Processing happens exclusively on your device. No data is sent to Apple, JDUCRAFT, or any third party.

No tracking, no ads

Shape Progress contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising pixels, no third-party trackers, no ads. The app is fully offline-capable and makes no network requests outside iCloud sync (handled by Apple).

Your rights (GDPR)

Since no personal data is collected by JDUCRAFT, there is nothing to request, rectify or delete on the publisher's side. You can at any time:

  • Erase all your sessions from the app: Profile > Data > Erase all sessions.
  • Delete all local data by uninstalling the app.
  • Delete the associated iCloud data via iOS Settings > iCloud > Manage Account Storage.

Children

The app is rated 4+ on the App Store. It contains no content unsuitable for minors and does not request any personal information, making it compliant with COPPA and the App Store's requirements regarding children.

Changes

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the app. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page indicates any change. No retroactive change can introduce data collection that was not previously in place.
